Recroot UK have a requirement for an Accounts Administrator to join our Ayrshire based client.

This position is a 9 month contract to cover maternity and will be part time – 20 hours per week.

Working within a long established and successful company based in Ardeer your main responsibilities will include:

Preparation of payroll

Collating timesheets and calculating overtime and expenses

Purchase ledger – inputting purchase invoices to Sage Line 50

checking supplier statements

Monthly creditor payment processing

Bank Reconciliations

Sales ledger - preparing sales invoices, keeping an eye on credit control, making calls for payment dates as required.

Cash book – keeping cash book up to date

Month end accounts using Sage

General administrative tasks as and when required

Answering phone and re-directing calls

Successful candidate will have recent experience of working within a similar position together with experience of payroll and a good understanding of bookkeeping.

Ideally you will have a good working knowledge of Sage together with Word and Excel skills.
